I Do Not Intend to Escape Responsibility, Says Pashinyan

I do not intend to escape responsibility, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with journalists.

"I am responsible not only for what has happened up to this point, but also for what will happen from now on. I am prepared to bear that responsibility until the point when the owner of power decides that I have nothing to do with that responsibility anymore," he said.

In response to a question about resigning, Pashinyan recalled that he has already submitted his resignation twice since 2018. "Well, you don’t resign every week. The power granted by the people, I cannot just go out on the street and say, ‘who wants it, take it.’ The fate of power is determined by the people," he stated.
