‘I can’t just go out in the street and say, take it if you want’ – Pashinyan

During a meeting with journalists, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he does not intend to evade responsibility. “I am responsible not only for what has happened until now, but also for what will happen after this. I am ready to bear that responsibility until the moment the owner of power decides that I have nothing to do with that responsibility anymore,” he said.

In response to a journalist's question about resigning, Pashinyan noted that he has already submitted his resignation twice since 2018. “People don’t resign every week. The power received from the people, I can’t just go out in the street and say, ‘who wants it, take it!’ The fate of power is decided by the people,” he added.
