Winter Draft Has Started

On January 9, the winter draft began, and to familiarize himself with the work, Armenia's Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Edward Asryan, visited the Central Gathering Center of the Ministry of Defense.

The officials responsible for the conscription process presented to the Minister the procedures for receiving the draftees, medical examinations, as well as the organization of the lottery.

Suren Papikyan toured the gathering center and issued instructions to ensure that the entire process of conscription is conducted efficiently and properly.

The Minister of Defense also spoke with the young people going to serve and wished them a successful service.
