‘This is another bait’: Peskov on Russia’s negotiations with the EU
Negotiations between the Russian Federation and the EU regarding Ukraine are just another bait, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, to reporters.
“It is unfair that no one talks about this; this is another bait. Moreover, if I understand correctly, they actually conveyed some information, but it was about another person with the surname Kozak, I think there is another person with a similar surname in the Rada or somewhere else,” Peskov stated.
Earlier, Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, announced that Kyiv was being offered a resolution based on the “Korean scenario.” According to him, Moscow’s representatives are supposedly sending a “message” during meetings with European politicians that they are ready to make concessions, but only to consolidate the status quo that exists today.
Recall that on the early morning of February 24, President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to launch a special military operation against Ukraine because the LPR and DPR had requested assistance. Military operations in Ukraine have been ongoing for the 318th day now.
