Saakashvili is in very bad condition and cannot even participate in the court hearing via video link; anything can happen to him. This was stated to journalists by the political figure's mother, Gyuli Alasania.

It should be noted that today, January 9, a regular court session regarding the postponement of the punishment of Georgia's third president, currently imprisoned Mikheil Saakashvili, will take place at the Tbilisi City Court.

"He is very ill; there is poison in his body. And as long as the poison is not removed from his body, anything can happen to him," said the politician's mother.

At the same time, Saakashvili's mother expressed hope that the court will meet the needs of the former president of Georgia. Due to Saakashvili's health condition, the court has already questioned an American toxicologist, a neurologist from the 'Vivamed' clinic, and an American psychiatrist as witnesses regarding the issue of postponing the punishment.
