No Response Yet: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson on Proposals to Azerbaijan

The Armenian side has not yet received any response regarding the proposals sent to Azerbaijan. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Vahan Hunanyan, in response to a query from 'Patsinfo'.

'As we announced previously, in December, Armenia submitted its proposals concerning the normalization of relations to Azerbaijan. As of now, we have no response,' Hunanyan noted.

It should be mentioned that on December 23, 2022, during a press conference following negotiations with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov declared that Baku was not yet prepared to provide a complete response to the proposals from Yerevan regarding the peace agreement.

On December 22, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Armenia had submitted its proposals to Azerbaijan several months ago regarding the further work of the delimitation and border security commission. Yerevan has also sent proposals concerning the opening of regional communications.
