Car Rolls into Ravine on Vedi-Lanjarr Road, Casualties and Injured Reported
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports that today the Regional Crisis Management Center of Ararat received an alert stating that an accident has occurred on the Vedi-Lanjarr highway, resulting in injuries.
A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry's regional rescue department has been dispatched to the scene.
It has been clarified that at the 38th kilometer of the Vedi-Lanjarr highway, a "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle (driver: H. Kh., born in 1991) veered off the roadway and rolled approximately 100 meters down the ravine. The driver and passenger N. G. (born in 1994) died at the scene, while passengers R. G. (born in 1988) and T. A. (born in 1992) were hospitalized in the medical center of Ararat city, where doctors assessed R. G.'s condition as moderately severe, and T. A.'s condition as satisfactory.
The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply, closed the valve of the gas cylinder, and retrieved the bodies from the ravine, bringing them closer to the ambulance.
