Zelensky Imposes Sanctions on 119 Public Figures Including Mikhail Galustyan and Margarita Simonyan
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has imposed sanctions on 119 public figures. The order has been published on the official website of the President of the country.
Among the artists listed are BASTA (Vasili Vakulenko), Pelageya (Telegina), Klava Koka (Klavdia Visokova), Mikhail Shufutinsky, Irina Allegrova, Lyubov Uspenskaya, Victoria Dainiko, Philip Kirkorov, Stas Pieha, Yevgeny Petrosyan, Sergey Bobunets, and Margarita Simonyan, the head of RT. Also included are Kremlin-friendly political scientist Alexander Dugin, director Nikita Mikhalkov, TV presenters Leonid Yakubovich, Mikhail Galustyan, and Zhanna Badoeva, as well as blogger Amiran Sardarov, among others.
Among those subject to sanctions are three Ukrainian citizens: Ukrainian citizen and TV presenter Zhanna Badoeva, Russian, Ukrainian, and Israeli citizen singer Lolita Miljavskaya, and Ukrainian citizen, footballer Anatoly Tymoshchuk.
The measures taken include the freezing of assets, a complete cessation of commercial activities, and the suspension of economic and financial obligations.
