VIDEO: Lion Attacks Trainer During Show at Sochi Circus

A trainer saved the life of his wife and co-worker when a lion attacked him during a performance at the Sochi Circus. The incident occurred when Alexey Makarenko attempted to separate two fighting animals to prevent them from harming each other, and the third animal, a lion, turned on him.

Olga Borisova managed to intervene in time and remove the animal from the arena. Alexey received medical assistance afterward. According to him, he only sustained damage to his 'skin.' He is now feeling well and continues to work.
