VIDEO: Christmas Tree Falls on Passersby in Russia

A street Christmas tree in Murmansk, located near the railway station, has fallen on passersby. This was reported by the local branch of the Investigative Committee.

As a result of the incident, two people were injured. Local media reported that the tree collapsed due to strong winds, which reached gusts of 21 meters per second on January 9. At the time of the fall, two women were passing by, and the pedestal could not support the structure.

Investigators have organized a procedural check to determine all circumstances of the incident.
