The State Will Install 44 Headstones for Victims of the September Aggression
As a result of the hostilities on September 13, headstones for 44 servicemen who died and were buried in the "Yerablur" military pantheon will be provided by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. This decision was made during the government's meeting today.
According to the justification, the Ministry of Defense signed a contract with "LIBRA-S" LLC on November 18, 2021, to procure 950 headstones for the graves of servicemen who lost their lives during the 44-day war. However, the relatives of 38 fallen servicemen preferred to construct and install the headstones in their chosen manner, requesting compensation for this arrangement. As a result, a portion of the headstones specified in the contract was stored.
To maintain and install headstones for the graves of servicemen who died during the military operations on September 13 of this year, the government has decided not to hold a new tender and instead to install the already prepared headstones.
