Approximately 100 HALO Trust Employees in Nagorno-Karabakh: Statement

The HALO Trust, an international demining charity, has issued a statement regarding the blockade of the Lachin corridor.

The organization expressed serious concerns about the ongoing blockade, which is the sole access point to Nagorno-Karabakh.

Nearly a month into the blockade, the organization is closely monitoring its humanitarian impact. Currently, about 100 HALO Trust employees are in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the organization is overseeing the availability of supplies and other necessities for them.

HALO Trust anticipates a prompt resolution to the issue and remains in constant contact with partners and other humanitarian organizations to coordinate humanitarian assistance if needed.
