«Any consumer in Armenia can obtain electricity from a producer» - Pashinyan

During today’s government meeting, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that any consumer in Armenia can obtain electricity from a producer.

“The electricity tariffs supplied by HEK were determined by the Public Services Regulatory Commission; now any entity can go and negotiate with the producer, and the PSRC has no role in the price anymore,” Pashinyan stated.

The Prime Minister also emphasized, “We have imposed an obligation on HEK to transport and provide the purchased electricity at certain tariffs, and it has no right to obstruct this.”
