Video: Thief with Six Prior Convictions Hides in Closet After Breaking into Apartment

On January 3, a citizen called the Kumairi police department to report an activation of the alarm system in one of the houses on Myasnikyan Street. This was reported by the police.

A response team from the Kumairi police department was dispatched to the scene. Thanks to their swift response, they were able to prevent the theft. The thief was found hiding in the closet of the apartment, where police officers discovered him.

The 44-year-old resident of Gyumri was arrested on suspicion of committing residential burglary and taken to the Kumairi police department. It was determined that the man had previously been convicted six times for various offenses.

During a search, the police discovered three chains and a pendant on him. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
