VIDEO: "Final Extinguishing Not Yet Achieved" - Ministry of Emergency Situations on Fire in Area Called "Jhapkut"
A fire has broken out in the Tavush region, affecting an area of 7 hectares in a location known as "Jhapkut." The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the alarm about the fire was received on January 3. Due to darkness and challenging terrain, firefighting operations were temporarily suspended yesterday.
This morning, an operational group from the Tavush regional rescue department has arrived at the scene to resume firefighting efforts. A total of 32 rescuers are participating in the firefighting operations.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there are several smoldering hotspots, and the resources are sufficient; the situation is under control. However, final extinguishing has not yet been achieved, and additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
