Traffic Police Comments on New Vehicle Registration and Deregistration Procedures

According to the decision No. 2096-N of the Armenian Government dated December 29, 2022, when registering a vehicle or deregistering it, the vehicle owner (authorized person or representative) must submit to the registration unit evidence of the payment of the state duty for the termination of ownership rights if the vehicle is sold to another individual within 365 days of acquiring it (after the state registration of ownership rights).

If the state duty is paid electronically, the document is considered submitted if information is obtained during online verification confirming this payment.
