In Ararat Province, a Major Car Accident Leaves Injured, Including 3 Children
A major car accident occurred today in Ararat Province, resulting in 7 injuries. This was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
On the 60th kilometer of the Yerezh-Yerevan highway, a VAZ-2107 vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned. Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, injured passengers G.A. (born in 2012), M.S. (born in 2017), and A.S. (born in 2019) were hospitalized at the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, where A.S.'s condition was assessed as serious, while the others were in moderate condition.
The rescuers approached the driver with an ambulance vehicle. The injured person was hospitalized at the Erebuni Medical Center, where his condition was also deemed serious. Rescuers have disconnected the vehicle and sealed the gas cylinder valve.
Following the incident, an investigation has been initiated by the Ararat regional investigative department.
