Banksy's Graffiti Stolen in Hostomel
The Bucha District Police of Kyiv, along with the procedural leadership from the Bucha District Prosecutor's Office, has reported about the theft of graffiti from a dilapidated house in the area, attributed to the world-famous street artist Banksy.
It has been reported that Kyiv police have arrested a 32-year-old man who is suspected of stealing the graffiti. On December 2, several individuals dismantled a piece of the wall featuring a woman depicted in a gas mask.
This image was created by the British artist on the wall of a house in the city of Hostomel, which was destroyed as a result of the Russian military invasion. After the man cut out the piece of the wall with the artwork, he wrapped it in stretch film to protect it from damage. However, he did not manage to load the stolen item into his vehicle, as he was spotted by the military administration at that moment.
