Video: Today Marks the Elephant's Birthday at Yerevan Zoo

Today marks the birthday of the elephant residing at the Yerevan Zoo. A video of the elephant's birthday 'celebration' was posted on the zoo's Facebook page.

In the footage, an elephant named Bunga is seen tasting fruits and vegetables. The zoo staff decorated Bunga's enclosure with fruits and vegetables, spelling out "Bunga-15."

"Your beloved elephant has turned 15 years old. The staff congratulated him this way," the publication states alongside the video.

It is worth mentioning that Bunga has been at the Yerevan Zoo since 2014, when the well-known Grant elephant was moved to the Tbilisi Zoo to be with its loved one. According to the zoo staff, Bunga is playful and smart, with a stubborn personality. He gets upset when his food is delayed and requires special care at all times.
