VIDEO: Attempt to Steal ATM Foiled by Security Guard

Two masked men attempted to steal an ATM from a store in the Geghamasar community of Vardenis. This information was provided by the police press service.

The store's security guard informed the responding officers that he saw how the masked men used technical means to break the store's door lock, entered inside, and tried to steal the ATM. However, when they noticed the guard, they fled the scene in a Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle.

Days later, the police identified and brought in two men, aged 28 and 38, who were residents of Sotk. It was revealed that the 28-year-old man, along with his brother-in-law, traveled to Geghamasar in a Mitsubishi Pajero, broke the store's door lock, and attempted to steal the ATM, but fled upon seeing the guard. The vehicle has been moved to a secure area under the jurisdiction of the Vardenis police department. The men have been presented to the authorities for prosecution.
