Mariam Pashinyan Photographing Republican Youth Leads to Assault and Pursuit

Leader of the "I Have Honor" faction, Hayk Mamijanyan reports that days ago, at one of the shops in Yerevan, members of the Republican Party's youth organization, Vladimir Manukyan, and coordinator of the "Supporters of Serzh Sargsyan" initiative, member of the Republican Council, Mikael Grigoryan, unexpectedly encountered Mariam Pashinyan, the elder daughter of Nikol Pashinyan.

"There was no contact with the mentioned individual. I am confident in this, based on what the guys have told me, and their decency in general. I have no doubt that the guys' relationship with Pashinyan is no secret to their families. After throwing a few glances, Pashinyan's daughter photographed the guys as she was leaving the shop. Since that day, the entire law enforcement system of the country has been pursuing these youngsters, armed with the photos taken by Mariam Pashinyan, going around the guys' yards and questioning their neighbors amid the closure of the Lachin corridor and the presence of thousands of other security issues.

Today, 18-year-old Vladimir Manukyan was assaulted by masked individuals, pushed down on the street, had handcuffs put on him, photographed, and taken to the Criminal Police. The abductors evidently attempted to intimidate the youth, pressuring him and not allowing him to contact his parents or lawyers. They only release him when we call 1-02 regarding the abduction. The reason for his detention was alleged suspicion of illegal weapons and ammunition possession... with this 18-year-old student.

Mikael Grigoryan was pursued all day by a vehicle with the state number 37AQ382, and I am sure that in the coming days, a similar show will be staged against Mikael related to that incident—of course, the Pashinyans have ordered a two-episode "mask show." Even at this moment, several law enforcement officers are roaming Mikael's yard. I warn the law enforcement that I will be very vigilant about uncovering this story, and these guys and their other friends have already been detained enough during street actions that they will surely not fear this. How much hatred must one have to send “mask show” against a peer and demand that it be filmed? What will be next... a day of bowing down when family members of the Pashinyans pass by?" wrote Hayk Mamijanyan.
