Major Fire in Ejmiadzin: 11 Residents Evacuated

A call was received today at the Regional Crisis Management Center of Armavir about a fire breaking out in one of the apartments at 45a Vazgen I Street in the city of Ejmiadzin.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that two firefighting teams from the Regional Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire ignited in the living room of the specified address. The fire was contained by 07:36 and extinguished by 07:45. Furniture and household items in the living room (approximately 55 sq.m) were partially burned. Rescuers evacuated 11 residents.

EMS staff provided appropriate medical assistance on-site to B.A. (born 2005), who was injured as a result of the fire.
