Video: Peacekeepers Approach Protesting Demonstrators and Demanding They Leave in a Rude Tone
Two officers from the Russian peacekeeping contingent approached demonstrators staging a protest near the Stepanakert airport and rudely demanded they leave. This was reported live by Tigran Petrosyan, the president of the "Tomorrow's Artsakh" party, which organized the demonstration.
"We made it clear to them that we are conducting a peaceful protest while they are unable to address the issues of 15 pseudo-peacekeepers, are you going to exert force against us?" Petrosyan explained the situation as one of the organizers of the protest.
Petrosyan also denied reports that the peacekeepers' command had agreed to a meeting. According to him, the deputy of Volkov came out to the demonstrators, who had previously negotiated with the Armenian side near Shushi, but this time the citizens did not wish to speak with him and demanded Volkov. The colonel, in turn, stated that they were unable to "find" the commander.
