Peskov on Possible Meeting Between Pashinyan and Putin

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has not ruled out the possibility of a meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin during the informal CIS summit taking place in St. Petersburg today.

Yesterday, Peskov announced that trilateral talks involving Vladimir Putin, Nikol Pashinyan, and Ilham Aliyev were not planned, but that there would be bilateral interactions during the informal summit.

It is noteworthy that just a few days ago, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan declined participation in the scheduled trilateral meeting in Moscow. The Armenian side emphasized that efforts are focused on lifting the blockade of Artsakh.
