Positive Dynamics Observed in 4-Month-Old Baby, 10 Children in Intensive Care - Artsakh Ministry of Health

Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, scheduled surgeries continue to be suspended at healthcare facilities operating under the Artsakh Ministry of Health. This was reported by the Artsakh Ministry of Health.

At the 'Arevik' medical center, 10 children are in the neonatal and intensive care units. A 4-month-old baby diagnosed with visceral leishmaniasis has shown positive dynamics and continues to receive treatment at a specialized medical center in Armenia.

At the Republican Medical Center, 10 patients are in the intensive care unit, four of whom are in extremely critical condition. Efforts are being made by doctors to stabilize the patients' conditions.

The Artsakh Ministry of Health is taking all possible measures to adequately address the situation created by the blockade.
