This goal was chosen by fans through voting on the FIFA website as the best.

Other contenders for the award included Salem Al-Dawsari (Saudi Arabia), Cody Gakpo (Netherlands), Enzo Fernandez (Argentina), Vincent Aboubakar (Cameroon), Luis Chavez (Mexico), Kylian Mbappe (France), Bek Seung-ho (South Korea), Neymar (Brazil), and Richarlison (against South Korea in the Round of 16).
