Export of Certain Goods from Armenia Banned for 6 Months

The government decided in its meeting today, December 22, to prohibit the export of a number of agricultural products from Armenia for a period of six months. This information was reported by the Ministry of Economy.

Specifically, in order to ensure food security and stabilize the economy of the Republic of Armenia, the export of products classified under the EAEU CN codes 1001 19 000 0, 1001 99 000 0, 1003 90 000 0, 1005 90 000 0, 1008 10 000, 1206 00 990 0, 1512 11 910, 1512 19 900 2, and 1512 19 900 9 (wheat, meslin, barley, corn, buckwheat, sunflower seeds, sunflower oil) to countries that are not members of the EAEU is banned for six months.
