Yerevan Municipality Signs Contracts for New Year Concerts with Preferred Companies

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: The Yerevan Municipality has allocated additional funds for New Year and Christmas celebrations and has signed contracts for the New Year concerts with its preferred companies, without a competition, based on single-source procurement.

The concerts will be held in the park of the 2750th anniversary fountains. The technical aspects of the concert events have been entrusted to "Factor Production," which has been paid 115 million 900 thousand drams for its services. This amount covers artistic light decoration in the park, decorating trees, hanging decorative lanterns from the trees, installing two "Devil's Wheel" carousels, and eight various-sized nutcracker figures, among other things.

The contract with "Factor Production" was signed by the municipality on December 12. On November 23, a contract was signed with "Ardzagank Pro" LLC for the content of the concert at the same location, for which the company was paid 60 million drams. In exchange for this amount, the company is required to organize 10 concert events from December 5 to January 6, each lasting at least one hour. The list of performers at the concerts must be approved by the municipality.

The contracts have been signed without a procurement competition, following the single-source procurement procedure.
