U.S. Strategic Oil Reserves Fall to Lowest Level in Decades
The U.S. strategic oil reserve has decreased to 378.6 million barrels, down by 3.6 million. This information is reported on the website of the Energy Information Administration. According to Life, this figure marks the lowest level since December 1983 when the reserve stood at 378.3 million barrels.
It was previously announced that Washington plans to purchase oil to replenish the strategic reserve, with the initial batch expected to be approximately three million barrels.
