Serj Tankian on the Blockade of Artsakh

Musician and System of a Down lead singer Serj Tankian has posted a message regarding the blockade of Artsakh on his Instagram Stories, urging its dissemination.

“Dear people, in the middle of winter, Azerbaijan has closed the only road connecting Artsakh to the rest of the world... Let’s put an end to Azerbaijan’s relentless assault on Armenians. We call on our government and the UN to condemn Aliyev's regime and urgently organize humanitarian airlifts,” the musician wrote.

Previously, Serj Tankian had commented on the execution of Armenian prisoners of war. “A video circulated on social networks on Sunday showing Azerbaijani soldiers executing captured Armenian soldiers has sparked outrage in Armenia, with calls for the government to provide accountability... The killing of prisoners of war is considered a 'serious violation' of the Geneva Conventions...” he stated.
