Senate Confirms Lynn Tracy as New U.S. Ambassador to Russia
The Senate has confirmed Lynn Tracy's nomination as the new U.S. Ambassador to Russia. This was reported by Говорит Москва.
So far, 55 out of 100 members of the House of Congress have voted in favor of the nominee selected by U.S. President Joe Biden. Tracy is an American diplomat who has served as the ambassador to Armenia since 2019.
The previous U.S. ambassador to Russia, John Sullivan, held the position for three years but recently resigned ahead of schedule.
