Vahe Grigoryan Appointed as Vice President of the Constitutional Court
On December 20, 2022, Vahe Grigoryan, a judge of the Constitutional Court, was elected as the Vice President of the Constitutional Court during the convened regular session.

Born on April 20, 1975, in Yerevan.
Education
- Graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University in 1997.
- Obtained a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the University of Nottingham in 2010.
Professional Development
- In 2001, participated in a course on "Property Rights and Transitional Justice" at the Rome Institute for International Development Law.
- In 2007, attended the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights in Warsaw.
- In 2009, took courses at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C.
- In 2010, studied at the Berlin Hertie School of Governance.
Professional Career
- On December 20, 2022, elected Vice President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia.
- On June 18, 2019, elected as a judge of the Constitutional Court by the National Assembly of Armenia upon the proposal of the President of the Republic.
- Since 2016, listed as a lawyer at the International Criminal Court.
- From 2014 to 2018, served as an international expert for the Council of Europe, providing advisory work for legal reforms in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Moldova.
- Worked as a lawyer and legal advisor at the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre in London from 2013 to 2019.
- From 2011 to 2015, engaged in national and international legal expertise, conducting training sessions organized by the OSCE, Council of Europe, and EU for legal professionals in Armenia, Central Europe, and CIS countries.
- From 2001 to 2019, provided legal counsel and representation in courts (including the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights), participating in over 80 cases in various capacities.
- From 2001 to 2005, legal advisor at the "Right-Law Group" LLC, and became its executive director in 2003.
- Between 1999 and 2000, served as head of the collateral management department, and later the legal advisory department at Armenbank CJSC.
- Worked as a lawyer at the Central Bank of Armenia from 1996 to 1997.

Served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia from 1997 to 1998. Married with two children.
