Uzbekistan Sends Train to Europe for the First Time via New Route Bypassing Russia

Uzbekistan has sent its first train to Europe via a new route that bypasses Russia. Russian media outlets report that the train consists of 46 wagons and has transported 91 containers of copper concentrate. The train will pass through Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia before reaching Bulgaria.

It will cross the Caspian and Black Seas using ferries. The total length of the new route exceeds 4,000 kilometers.
