Director of Artsakhenergo Appeals to the People of Artsakh

Gas supply has been restored in Artsakh for the second consecutive day, and naturally, we are operating at maximum capacity. This was noted by Andranik Khachatryan, the General Director of Artsakhenergo.

“I have a simple request, demand, and appeal for all of us to consciously and economically relate to electricity, so that we can overcome this crisis situation with minimal damage,” he added.

It is worth recalling that Azerbaijani “environmentalists” have closed the Lachin Corridor since December 12. Initially, they claimed that the exploitation of mineral resources in the area under the responsibility of Russian peacekeepers was “illegal” and that their respective “specialists” should be allowed to visit the extraction sites and conduct ongoing monitoring. However, they are now demanding to install an Azerbaijani customs checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor.
