The 2022 World Cup final between Argentina and France ended with a score of 3:3 (4:2), making the Argentine national team the three-time champions.

After the match, Argentina's captain and forward Lionel Messi celebrated the victory in the World Cup with his mother. Immediately after the final whistle, Messi's mother, Celia Maria, ran onto the field and embraced her son tightly.

The 35-year-old forward, who led his team to the title of world champion, also received the Golden Ball award at the FIFA World Cup 2022.
