Funeral Commission to Be Established in Connection with Galust Sahakyan's Death
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has signed a decision to establish a funeral commission following the death of former National Assembly president Galust Sahakyan. The decision states:
"Guided by point 2 of appendix N 6 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia's decision N 1910-N dated November 23, 2006, and paragraph 16 of article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Structure and Activities of the Government,
1. A commission is to be created in connection with the death of Galust Sahakyan, the former president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, with its individual composition confirmed according to the appendix.
2. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia is to present a relevant proposal to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia within 20 days based on the report of the expenses for the burial provided by the commission," the decision reads.
It is worth noting that Galust Sahakyan passed away at the age of 74.
