Opposition Again Absent from National Assembly Session; Newly Appointed Constitutional Court Judges Sworn In
Today, on December 16, the National Assembly of Armenia held an extraordinary session at the initiative of the government. The agenda of the extraordinary session included 11 issues.
During the discussion of the question regarding the acceptance of the package of bills on amendments and supplements to the law on the structure and activities of the government in the second reading and in full, several opposition members left the session hall. Most of the opposition did not attend the session at all.
At the beginning of the session, newly appointed judges of the Constitutional Court, Seda Safaryan and Hovakim Hovakimyann, were sworn in.
