EU Imposes Sanctions on Russian Armed Forces and Their All Types
The European Union has included the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their all types in the ninth package of sanctions. This is confirmed by data from the EU's official journal.
Thus, the following will fall under the restrictions: the Russian army, aviation, navy, and airborne forces, as reported by Life.
In addition, the new package of sanctions includes a ban on the export of aviation-related goods and technologies, including drones, as well as aircraft engines and their parts.
It was also previously reported that Switzerland had joined the EU’s new sanctions against Russia. The blacklist includes 168 Russian companies, including representatives from the mining and energy sectors, as well as four Russian television channels.
