VIDEO: The Ombudsman of Artsakh Publishes Today's Planned Protest Schedule
The Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh, Gegham Stepanyan, made a post on his Facebook page, which is presented below:
"Dear compatriots,
Considering the complete blockade of Artsakh for four days and the disconnection of gas supplies by Azerbaijan, resulting in a humanitarian disaster in Artsakh, as well as the inadequate response of the international community to Azerbaijan's criminal behavior, today, December 15, protests will take place in front of the embassies of the permanent members of the UN Security Council accredited in Armenia and the EU delegation and UN office in Armenia, according to the following schedule:
- 14:00 - US Embassy
- 14:30 - Chinese Embassy
- 15:30 - EU Delegation
- 16:30 - French Embassy
- 17:00 - Russian Embassy
- 17:30 - UK Embassy
Afterward, we will join our compatriots expressing their protests in front of the UN office.
I will be present at all the protest locations to present the situation in Artsakh and demand adherence to the fundamental principles of human rights universality.
I urge all my colleagues who have carried out the crucial mission of the Human Rights Defender in Armenia and Artsakh to join and lead the protests. I also call on all my compatriots who care about the fate of Artsakh to join the mentioned protests so that we may present our demands to the international community."
