Following Morocco's defeat, fan clashes erupted across France. In Paris, police arrested 40 individuals during the disturbances involving football fans.

Confrontations between fans and police were reported in Paris, Nice, Lyon, and Montpellier. In the capital, suburban areas, and Montpellier, Moroccan fans threw stones and debris at law enforcement officers and set vehicles on fire.

Moroccan fans also targeted windows displaying the French flags with stones and fireworks. A total of 10,000 police were deployed to suppress the unrest.

As reported by Midi Libre, the main participants in the disturbances were supporters of the French national team. The match between France and Morocco concluded with France winning 2-0, allowing them to advance to the World Cup final, where they will face the Argentina national team on December 18 at 18:00.
