14-Year-Old Dies Following France-Morocco Football Match Violence
Following Morocco's loss, clashes broke out across France between fans of both national teams. It has been reported that confrontations occurred in Paris, Nice, Lyon, and Montpellier between fans and police.
According to RMC Sport, in Montpellier, a 14-year-old boy lost his life due to a conflict among fans. Earlier reports indicated that massive clashes had taken place in this French city between French citizens and ethnic Moroccans.
Unknown individuals approached a vehicle occupied by fans of the French national team and began to pull the national team's flag out of the window. The driver abruptly turned and struck the 14-year-old boy. He later died from his injuries in the clinic.
