"If the airplane is civilian, will they not shoot it down?" Babayan on the potential use of an aerial route

During a protest regarding the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh, Artsakh's Foreign Minister Davit Babayan responded to reporters' questions about the possibility of using an aerial route to transport people who are unable to return to Artsakh from Armenia due to the closure of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan. He stated:

"An aerial route would be good, but we need to look at the map. We have become an enclave; they can cause damage at any moment. If the airplane is civilian, will they not shoot it down? Wasn't the Russian military helicopter shot down? Does a terrorist or a criminal look at the law...?"
