Bosnia and Herzegovina Granted Candidate Status for EU Membership

The participants of the EU summit have approved granting candidate status for EU membership to Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to TASS, this information was reported by Agence France-Presse, citing a source in the EU.

It is worth recalling that on June 23, the leaders of EU countries and governments decided to grant candidate status for community membership to Ukraine and Moldova, while Bosnia and Herzegovina was denied.
