Twitter Stops Paying Office Rent

Twitter has ceased paying rent for its offices in an effort to cut costs, reports The New York Times.

According to sources cited by the outlet, the company's management has halted rent payments for Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco and the spaces occupied by its offices in other countries, all aimed at saving money.

Additionally, The New York Times states that Musk has ordered the cessation of payments for private air transportation services that were previously utilized by the company's former executives, and is contemplating the possibility of not paying severance to laid-off employees.

The publication notes that these drastic measures are focused on reducing the company's expenses. It further mentions that Musk, along with his advisors, is strengthening Twitter's legal team in anticipation of potential litigation.
