Planned Surgeries Temporarily Halted in Artsakh

Due to Azerbaijan's blockade of the road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the gas supply, planned surgeries at medical facilities under the jurisdiction of the Artsakh Ministry of Health have been temporarily halted. This information was reported by the Artsakh Health Ministry.

"Currently, there is no shortage of necessary medications and medical supplies for emergency medical assistance in the medical facilities. At this time, 11 patients are in the intensive care unit of the Republic Medical Center, with 2 in critical condition," the statement said.

Some medical facilities are being heated using diesel fuel (there are currently no issues, but supplies are limited), while others are using electric heaters due to the gas supply blockade. The Artsakh Ministry of Health is taking all possible measures to properly overcome the created situation.
