Landmine Explosion in Karvachar Results in Casualties

A landmine explosion in Karvachar has resulted in the death of one Azerbaijani individual and injuries to seven others, according to Azerbaijani media reports.

As noted by Armenpress, the explosion occurred near the village of Chirag in the Karvachar region, affecting four workers from a construction company. It has also come to light that four soldiers dispatching to the scene to evacuate the injured suffered injuries from the landmine explosion, with one reported deceased and the others sustaining varying degrees of bodily harm.

Media reports state that the information regarding the incident was received today at 6:00 PM. Currently, the country's military prosecutor's office is investigating the incident.
