Incidents of Fires Caused by Gas Cylinders Recorded in Artsakh: Emergency Service Warns

On December 14, the 911 emergency call center of the state emergency service recorded two incidents of fire, caused by the explosion of gas cylinders or their malfunction. Fortunately, no serious damage was reported in either case. This information was provided by the Artsakh Republic’s emergency service, which noted that due to the lack of natural gas supply in the Republic of Artsakh, residents utilize metal gas cylinders, which are quite hazardous from a fire safety perspective.

The emergency service reminds that an explosion of a gas cylinder in homes can lead to a fire or other emergencies. To avoid creating dangerous situations for life and health, it is essential to adhere to the established norms and requirements for using gas cylinders, and to check their condition with the help of qualified specialists before use.
