Armenia Appeals to ECHR Demanding Azerbaijan to Unblock Lachin Corridor

Today, Armenia has notified the International Court of Justice regarding the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan over the past two days and the resulting violations of the rights of the residents of Artsakh.

“At the same time, Armenia has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights, requesting the application of interim measures against Azerbaijan and obliging it to unblock the Lachin corridor. We will provide further information regarding the ongoing legal processes with international courts and subsequent developments,” stated the representative of Armenia on international legal issues.
