Some Citizens Slept in Goris, Others in Lisagor: Situation in the Lachin Corridor

Due to yet another Azerbaijani provocation, the Republic of Artsakh has been effectively blockaded for a day, violating the rights of thousands of citizens.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh reported to News.am that, as a result of the current situation, citizens traveling from Armenia to Artsakh have spent the night in Goris, while some, including women and children, stayed in the Lisagor community of the Shushi region.

It is noteworthy that on December 12 at around 10:30 AM, the Azerbaijani side violated the provisions of the trilateral agreement from November 9, 2020, and closed the only route connecting Artsakh to the world under the pretext of environmental reasons, infringing on the vital interests and rights of the civilian population.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide additional information regarding the developments of the situation.
