Italian Defense Minister Announces Conditions for Halting Arms Supplies to Ukraine

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has announced that Rome will cease supplying weapons and ammunition to Kyiv after the start of peace negotiations. He emphasized that, sooner or later, military assistance to Ukraine must come to an end. This was reported by ANSA.

“And that will end when peace talks begin,” Crosetto stated. At the same time, the minister believes that neither Russia nor Ukraine are striving for dialogue. Crosetto is confident that an authoritative figure is needed in this situation to initiate negotiations. He expressed hope that the European Union would act as a mediator.
